Hello everyone, I’m Yousaf Ijaz, and I’d like to share a bit about my journey after completing my LLB at the School of International Law (SIL). SIL played an important role in equipping me for the journey I’m on today. I began my career with MGH Pakistan as Director and Head of Legal Corporate Affairs, quickly advancing to the Board of Directors. Later, I was appointed Managing Director for the group at our UAE headquarters, overseeing projects in development, brokerage, and marketing.

I’m also honored to serve on the Board of Green Climate Alliance Pakistan, supporting climate and sustainability initiatives. In addition to this, I’m also working in defense indenting under the AKD Group of Companies, representing Pakistan in collaborations with MOD UK, DOD USA, OMPC Oman, and MOD Pakistan. Recently, I became a representative of Oman Munition Production Company in Pakistan.

I encourage all law students to cherish their time in college and make full use of all extracurricular activities such as the Law Society and the Law Clinic. They teach you important skills like team work, strategy planning and time management. Wishing you all great success for your future.
