SIL Alumni Stories of Leadership and Impact!

After completing my LLB, I began my career working with leading law firms in Pakistan, gaining valuable experience in litigation and corporate advisory. I then pursued my LLM in the United States, which opened doors to global exposure and specialized expertise.

Upon returning to Pakistan, I joined the Intellectual Property Organization (IPO Pakistan) as a Law Officer for copyrights, before moving into the energy sector with SLB (Schlumberger). At SLB, I serve as part of the MENA Legal Squad, supporting operations across the region.

From courtrooms in Pakistan to handling cross-border contracts in the Middle East, I strive to bridge local and international legal practice. I believe every step after law school has shaped me into the lawyer I am today, one who values resilience, lifelong learning, and the power of law to connect people and businesses across borders.

I owe immense gratitude to my law school, School of International Law, for instilling in me the foundations of critical thinking and professional excellence, and especially to Ma’am Nida, whose guidance and mentorship played a defining role in shaping my path as a lawyer.
