Statement by Capt Hoor Alam Zaib Khan, Duty Assistant Judge Advocate General (DAJAG)
“As I reflect on my journey to becoming DAJAG, I am profoundly grateful for the education and support I received from School of International Law (SIL). The rigorous academic curriculum, coupled with the practical experiences offered, laid a solid foundation for my career in law. The dedicated professors and diverse student body challenged me to think critically, advocate effectively, and approach every legal issue with integrity and diligence.
SIL not only provided me with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the legal field but also instilled in me the values of justice, fairness, and service to the community. The opportunities for hands-on learning, such as internships and moot court competitions, were instrumental in preparing me for the real-world demands of legal practice.
I am especially thankful for the mentorship and guidance of SIL, who encouraged me to pursue my passion for law and provided invaluable advice throughout my studies and beyond.
My success as a legal officer is a testament to the excellent education and unwavering support I received from SIL. I am proud to be an alumna and will always be grateful for the role the school has played in my professional journey.”
So proud of you Hoor! May you always find success and honour in all that you do. Ameen
