SIL High Achievers / Alumni

Adam Jabbar

When I joined SIL for the Graduate Entry LL.B., I had already completed my BBA. The two years were challenging but rewarding. The flexibility of the program and the constant encouragement from Ma’am Nida and the faculty allowed me to study while working, and that balance shaped the way I approach learning and growth even today.

By the grace of Allah, I scored well in Company Law, which opened the door to Orr Dignam & Co. and gave me valuable corporate law experience. Later, working with Ahmed Raza Qasuri gave me exposure to litigation and courtroom practice. These experiences gave me a strong foundation early in my career.

With time I was drawn toward technology law. Today I serve as a partner at Mufti Law and also lead TechLawgy, an international consultancy that has supported hundreds of businesses on compliance, data protection, and emerging technology issues. Alongside my practice, I have authored books including ChatGPT for Lawyers and Mastering Legal Prompt Engineering, and co-founded YourMunshi to make legal services more accessible through AI.

To current SIL students, I would say: value the foundation you are building here because SIL truly gives you the tools to succeed. But also remember that the legal world is changing fast. Learn the latest skills in law, including legal technology and AI, because conventional methods alone will not prepare you for the future.
